Privacy Policy

What data we collect

We collect account information you provide directly, such as your name, email address, and phone number. We collect business information about your restaurant, including its name and location. When you connect Google Business Profile, Yelp, or Facebook, we collect review data from those platforms — reviewer names, ratings, and review text. We store the AI-generated draft responses created on your behalf, along with the approved versions you post. We collect device push tokens so we can deliver notifications to your phone. Payment information (card details, billing address) is collected and stored directly by Stripe, our payment processor — we never see or store your full card number.

How we use your data

We use your data to provide the Monger service: pulling in new reviews from your connected platforms, generating AI draft responses in your voice, sending you push notifications about new or overdue reviews, and processing your subscription billing. We do not sell your data, and we do not use your review data to train AI models beyond generating your own draft responses.

Third-party services we share data with

Monger relies on a small number of trusted service providers to operate: Anthropic (processes review text to generate AI draft responses), Stripe (processes payments and stores your payment information), Firebase (delivers push notifications to your device), Supabase (stores your account, business, and review data), and — as read/write access you explicitly grant — Google Business Profile, Yelp, and Meta/Facebook (the review platforms Monger connects to on your behalf). Each of these providers processes data under their own privacy policy and only receives the data necessary to perform their function for Monger.

Data retention

We retain your account, business, and review data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete your account and business data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain billing records for tax or legal compliance purposes. Review data already posted to Google, Yelp, or Facebook remains on those platforms independently of Monger, since it lives on their servers, not ours.

Your rights

You can request a copy of your data or request that we delete your account and associated data at any time by emailing contact@mongerapp.com. We will confirm and process deletion requests within 30 days.

Cookies

The Monger website and app use only minimal, essential cookies required to keep you signed in during your session. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.
